The HYGIEIA Project aims to design an innovative transnational master’s degree, providing skills applicable in strategies ensuring health and well-being through non-pharmacological approaches – using cosmetics, food supplements and nutrition and lifestyle education.
It aims to attract students from all over the world who aspire to a career in industry, companies and institutions in the field of health and wellness. HYGIEIA is led by Universidade Lusófona, having as academic partners the universities of Belgrade and the Balearic Islands.
The Project Kick-off meeting took place on the 21st and 22nd of March. It included a Focus Group with the participation of stakeholders representing regulatory authorities, industry, primary health care, patient associations, NGOs, which made contributions that will be applied in the design of the study plan, complementary teaching activities and in the construction of the consortium support for the master’s degree.
